The Dallas Cowboys are basically in a must-win situation this Monday night when they host the Arizona Cardinals. Dallas is 3-4-1 and have a bye week coming up. If they want to stay at all relevant in the playoff
chase, they have to beat a struggling 2-5 Cardinals team.
If Dallas can get to the bye with a .500 record, they still have an outside chance of doing something in the second half of the season. Either by trade, or by just getting injured players back, they would have some avenues to improve an awful defense.
The Cowboys have an opportunity to stay relevant for a bit longer with a win. It’s not much, but we’ll see if they come out with a ‘back against the wall’ attitude.
