Rolly Romero will be back in action later tonight (Sat., Aug. 22, 2026) at PBC Fight Night: “Put Up Or Shut Up” LIVE on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the WBC welterweight champion puts his title on the line for the first time in a main event showdown against former lightweight king Teofimo Lopez.
This will be the first time boxing fans are seeing Romero compete since his upset win over Ryan Garcia in Time Square back in May 2025. That’s a long layoff for
the 30-year-old champion, but Romero could come back even stronger for one of the most difficult fights of his career. Lopez, who is coming off a decision loss to Shakur Stevenson this past January, already has the support of oddsmakers and many fans are expecting him to be too much for Romero.
Luckily, the action won’t stop there. Saturday’s PPV main card will also feature a co-headliner pitting WBA super bantamweight champion Victor Santillan against veteran knockout artist Gary Antonio Russell. Not to mention appearances from talented up-and-comers like Carlos Utria and Yoenli Hernandez.
