Yesterday, H-E-B and Dylan Harper teamed up to support Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on San Antonio’s East Side, donating 200 turkeys to the church’s food pantry and participating in its Thanksgiving food drive.
Harper was drafted second overall this past summer. He’s already shown an intense mix of high basketball
IQ, speed, and confidence with a penchant for not shying away from a challenge.
The former McDonald’s All-American Co-MVP played in six of the first seven games for the Spurs, making a name for himself off the bench. Unfortunately, he’s been sidelined with a left calf injury.
In the meantime, he went out to brighten the holiday for folks in the community. Always a good sign to see these youngsters involved in bigger picture ventures outside of basketball.
