In Week 5, the 0-4 Tennessee Titans take on the 0-4 Houston Texans. The Texans were expected by some to be a Super Bowl contender this season. Instead, they come to Nissan Stadium with their season on the line. It’s going to be really tough for them to climb out of an 0-4 start. A 0-5 start would make it virtually impossible to make the playoffs.
Even with the Texans being winless, they opened as a 6.5-point road favorite against the Titans at FanDuel Sportsbook. That’s how little Vegas thinks of
the Titans. It makes sense. There’s no way I’d put money on the Titans.
Attendance at Nissan Stadium will be interesting on Sunday. We have seen a lot of opposing fan takeovers over the last few years. That probably won’t be the case this week because the Texans don’t have a massive fanbase that travels well. My guess is that there will be a whole lot of empty seats in Nashville this weekend.
Do you have any confidence the Titans can cover here? If you do, let me know why in the comments.
