Barcelona sent scouts to watch Norwegian attacking midfielder Bo Hegland in action for Swedish side Djurgårdens IF against Gais earlier this week, according to Expressen
.Hegland has caught the eye in the Swedish championship and may well have impressed Barcelona with his performance in the match.
The 22-year-old grabbed an assist and scored in a 2-0 win that means Djurgårdens sit second in the table, seven points behind leaders Sirius.
Hegland now has 15 assists for the season, as well as eight goals, from 21 league appearances and is attracting plenty of interest from clubs across Europe.
Premier League side Newcastle are also believed to be keen on the 22-year-old, while Anderlecht, and Atlético Madrid have also been linked with Hegland.
The midfielder is currently contracted to Djurgårdens until 2029 but the Swedish side may struggle to hang onto their star man if he continues to shine in front of goal.
