To the victor goes the spoils. El Grande Americano won the Rey de Reyes tournament last week, and now it will be time for the sacred sword presentation this week on AAA TV (Mar. 21, 2026). The second week of Rey de Reyes from Puebla also includes the War Raiders challenging for the tag titles and trios action with Rey Fenix.
El Grande Americano prevailed over Original Grande Americano, La Parka, and Santos Escobar for the Rey de Reyes victory. EGA’s prizes are the sacred Rey de Reyes sword and a future
shot at the AAA Mega Championship held by Dominik Mysterio, who retained the title over Hijo del Vikingo.
Rey Fenix returns to the AAA ring alongside partners Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice. They will be facing La Hiedra and Money Machine (Colmillo de Plata & Garra de Oro). There is no story behind the matchmaking, however, this contest can continue the drama of Hiedra’s jealousy at mixed tag team champions Iguana and Lola.
Psycho Clown and Pagano will defend the AAA World Tag Team Championship against the War Raiders. Erik and Ivar won a #1 contender bout, and now their shot at glory is here. Psycho Clown and Pagano are also dealing with a mystery attacker storyline. Members of the Psycho Circus were sent to the hospital. Tensions briefly arose when Psycho questioned Pagano about this violence. It seems like seeds are being planted for a tumultuous friendship. That should be down the line though. Odds favor Psycho Clown and Pagano to retain on this evening.
