TCU Football had another big day in the transfer portal on Thursday, highlighted by adding a big man to the offensive line, signing FIU transfer offensive lineman Jaheim Buchanon. The 6-foot-4, 300 pound
redshirt sophomore earned CUSA All-Freshman Team in 2024 and Second Team All-CUSA in 2025.
Buchanon joins a Horned Frogs offensive line that has also added Oklahoma State transfer Noah McKinney this portal cycle as TCU looks to replace Coltin Deery, Carson Bruno, and Remington Strickland in the trenches. Buchanon is a versatile athlete with the ability to step in and start at any position on the interior of the offensive line. Rated as a three-star transfer prospect, the Florida native was also a three-star out of high school, signing with the Panthers over Army & Navy. Buchanon had also reported a Nebraska offer before announcing his commitment to the Horned Frogs.
