Rumors for the Day:
- The Observer didn’t confirm AJ Lee is returning to WWE, but did say it looks to be happening and WWE is trying to load up the card for Wrestlepalooza.
- Bodyslam.net claims WWE officials are “very impressed” with Ludwig Kaiser for how well he’s done playing the role of El Grande Americano. He’s looking at a big push in AAA.
- According to Fightful Select, The Righteous have been telling promoters they are finishing up doing independent dates “in the coming months” and it’s looking likely they will sign with WWE.
- Per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Forbidden Door looks to have done similar PPV buys to Double or Nothing, which was “estimated at 122,000 to 130,000 buys.”
- Chael Sonnen mentioned during the Real American Freestyle wrestling debut that Nick Khan and WWE were to thank for the show happening, leading to the obvious speculation that they are involved in it.
