The Atlanta Falcons are kicking off training camp this year with Matt Ryan back in the building as the president of football, a new general manager and head coach in Ian Cunningham and Kevin Stefanski, and tons of new faces on the roster. It’s a time where the Falcons are novel, hopes will run high, and there will be plenty to track.
For what I hope is many of you, it’ll also be an opportunity to see this team up close. The Falcons announced their open practice dates for training camp in 2026, and
there are 12 dates in all. There’s an opening day on Friday, July 31 for season ticket holders, a Saturday Night Lights scrimmage, and a pair of joint practices later in August with the Indianapolis Colts.
There’s going to be plenty to go and see, from head-turning rookie Zachariah Branch to the quarterback competition to battles for starting jobs at a half dozen positions across the roster, as well as a better feel for how Stefanski and company are coaching this team.
If you’re going, let us know, and be sure to share your observations with your fellow fans at The Falcoholic!
