Raw airs tonight (Nov. 24) with a live show from Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is the final episode of Raw during the seven week build to Survivor Series, which takes place on Saturday
(Nov. 29).
The biggest War Games match in WWE history is only missing one thing
Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns made their surprise returns to Raw last week to officially join the men’s War Games match. It will now be Reigns, CM Punk, The Usos, and Cody Rhodes vs. Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and YouTube douchebag Logan Paul inside the caged double ring at Survivor Series. Triple H says it’s the biggest War Games match in WWE history.
There’s only one thing missing from this War Games match, and that’s figuring out which team earns the advantage of sending in their next teammate into the match first when the waiting periods end. That issue will be settled tonight when two members of the babyface squad go against The Vision in a tag team match for the War Games advantage.
War Games typically works better when heels have the advantage, though the babyfaces do have a decent chance to get it in WWE, probably for a change of pace on recent Survivor Series cards that feature two different War Games matches each year.
Roman Reigns is set to kick off the show tonight. Given that the War Games advantage is determined in a tag team bout, he may very well exercise his powers as Tribal Chief to make sure The Usos are fighting on behalf of his squad tonight, seeing that they are arguably the greatest tag team in WWE history. But now that Brock Lesnar is aligned with Paul Heyman’s Vision, it may not matter which two men oppose the heels tonight if The Beast decides to be ringside for the bout.
Which team will have the advantage in the biggest War Games match in WWE history? Tune into Raw to find out.
The rest of the card
The second round of John Cena’s Last Time Is Now tournament gets underway tonight with two matches: GUNTHER vs. Carmelo Hayes and Penta vs. Solo Sikoa. Melo is coming off a major upset win over Bronson Reed, and he’ll be an even bigger underdog tonight going up against the Ring General. Meanwhile, Sikoa usually has the numbers advantage with MFT watching his back, but perhaps Sami Zayn’s traditional Survivor Series SmackDown team will show up tonight to mess up that equation during Solo’s tournament match.
Becky Lynch has been doing a great parody of President Donald Trump’s actual deranged and senile mannerisms on social media ever since she shockingly lost the women’s Intercontinental championship to Maxxine Dupri last week. AJ Lee played a key role in Becky’s loss, which is why Lynch blindsided AJ on SmackDown as both stars officially joined the women’s War Games match. The Man will be live on Raw tonight to address everything that’s going on here. Will she keep trying to get the allegedly rigged outcome against Dupri overturned by using nonsensical talking points that have no basis in reality, instead of simply challenging the new champ to a rematch?
Finally, AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio will make an appearance tonight on Raw to address his upcoming match against Intercontinental Champion John Cena at Survivor Series. Will Dirty Dom try to get a stipulation or gimmick added to the title bout that’s favorable to him? Will deadbeat dad Rey Mysterio be there to put his little shithead son in his place?
Other stuff to keep an eye on
– Actually, I just thought of a second crucial element that’s missing from the men’s War Games match; Drew McIntyre needs to get back to his expert level trolling of CM Punk now that they are going to war against each other again. Will the suspended McIntyre do so tonight?
– WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is set to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the women’s world championship at Survivor Series. Will Vaquer finally find a way to get one over on Bella tonight after the freshly turned heel has laid out the babyface champ on two consecutive episodes of Raw?
– Are World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee still spending more time trying to come up with a team name instead of defending the belts? How soon will the New Day be coming after the gold?
– Does The Judgment Day plan to continue feuding with New York Giants star Cam Skattebo now that Sheamus is injured again?
– Jey Uso didn’t look too happy when his twin brother Jimmy announced his own entry into the War Games match. Will anybody on tonight’s broadcast call out Jey on his curious reaction?
– LA Knight has to face another mystery opponent later this week on SmackDown in The Last Time Is Now tournament. Will the megastar get any time on Raw to talk some trash ahead of his tournament match?
– Does Rhea Ripley have a plan to ensure her War Games team is standing tall on Raw tonight given how effective Asuka’s squad has been at ambushing the babyfaces in recent weeks?
– Which side of Bayley will Lyra Valkyria have to deal with tonight? Probably both sides, right? Will they be fed to the heel women’s War Games team members like Nia Jax and Lash Legend in a tune up match?
– Where the f*** is Omos?
What will you be looking for on Raw?
