The NFL Top 100 list for 2026 is nearing its end. It’s not a list I care too much about because I know most players who are polled for this list don’t take it too seriously. That said, I do enjoy the videos they put out for each selection in the top-100. It offers some neat insight into how players around the league feel about other individuals.
On Monday, it was revealed that Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs placed No. 9 on this year’s list, the only Lions player to crack the top-10 this year.
He ranked 27th last year, so it’s clear his respect around the league is continuing to grow as he enters Year 4 of his NFL career.
The video, which you can watch below, heavily features comments from division rival edge defender Micah Parsons of the Green Bay Packers. The All-Pro pass rusher had nothing but glowing things to say about Gibbs. When the interviewer even mentions Gibbs, his first reaction is, “Oh my god!”

Parsons: “I would say he’s the fastest person I’ve ever seen on the field.”
“You need 11 people running to the ball every play. If you don’t rally tackle, there’s no way you beat the Lions with him at running back.”

Bills RB James Cook: “He’s just elusive, man. He can do it all.”

While this is Gibbs’ highest ranking on the list, he will not be the highest-ranked running back this year. The whole list hasn’t been revealed yet, but the top-10 players will include both Christian McCaffrey and Bijan Robinson ranked higher than Gibbs.
