The Tennessee Titans start their post-Jeffery Simmons era today against the Cincinnati Bengals. This was going to be a tough spot for the Titans defense when they had Simmons. Without Big Jeff, it feels like Joe Burrow is going to have a name-your-score type of day. It is time to see John Franklin-Myers, Keldric Faulk, and Femi Oladejo step up.
The Bengals defense isn’t very good. The only way the Titans are going to stay in this game is to score 27+ points. Does anyone have faith that Cam Ward and
the offense can do that today? I don’t, but if Ward wants to actually make this his team, he could start by putting up the best performance of his career today.

Carnell Tate is sitting this one out with a shoulder injury. The Titans have their bye next week, so hopefully it is just a one-game absence for Tate.
