And despite L.A.’s 12-5 record and being ranked by some as the best team in the NFL even after losing the division, this team does have problems
.
The Rams lost three games in five weeks, including road losses to losing teams in the NFC South with a combined six turnovers in those two games, and blowing a 16-point fourth quarter lead to the Seahawks.
Defensively, the team finished just 19th against the run by yards per carry. Since their 12th game, the Rams ranked 26th in points allowed.
Offensively, Matthew Stafford might need to have four perfect games for the Rams to win the Super Bowl knowing that L.A.’s defense and special teams is not bringing it.
The Panthers might be as easy of a matchup as a wild card team could hope for in the first round. It only gets harder from there.
