The Indianapolis Colts are set to return home and begin divisional play against the Houston Texans. After these starts, this one will be huge. 0-2 starts to the year have created a sense of desperation for both teams. FanDuel Sportsbook sees the Colts as underdogs in this one at +2.5.

Oof. That one hurt. After a rough opener, the Colts responded in Kansas City. Another beautiful drive to start the game was followed by a blow by blow affair. Each team
traded punches, but the defense once again struggled immensely. It took overtime to decide this one, and after a fortuitous reversal of a fumble call, the Colts had hope. Patrick Mahomes had other ideas, however, as he swiftly worked down the field for the game-winning field goal.
The Texans welcomed the Bengals into town for their second home game to start the year. So far, the season hasn’t gone as planned, but after a slow start in 2025, you can’t count them out. C.J. Stroud threw 55 times with no touchdowns as the Texans fell behind early and could never catch up. After putting up 31 on the Bills, they could only muster 6 points against Cincinnati.
This is the battle for relevancy, a chance to save a season. 0-2 is a bad start. 0-3 might be a death sentence. The season and jobs could be on the line if the Colts don’t turn this one around. It’s time to get in the winning column.
