On Tuesday, repots began to emerge that Real Madrid — and its star player Kylian Mbappé — are pushing to get Bayern Munich star Michael Olise next season. According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Tobi Altschäffl and Heiko Niedderer (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), the Bavarians are looking to prevent something like that from happening by inking Olise to a contract extension:
Bayern are already discussing the possibility of offering Michael Olise a new contract, which would tie him to the club
beyond 2029. For now, however, the club has yet to approach Olise’s camp. It’s conceivable that Bayern will open contract talks with Michael Olise during the course of this season.
Well…Bayern Munich has no choice, but to get out in front of this. Why let anything go to chance?
Bayern Munich will host Werder Bremen in a Bundesliga match that — on paper — looks a little lopsided.
Okay, a lot lopsided.
The Bavarians are scorching hot and Werder Bremen has a slew of injuries, which makes for what could be a very tough challenge against a Bayern Munich team than can just wear down the opposition.
Let’s get into it — this is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show:
- What to watch for with Werder Bremen. Die Werderaner are banged up, but does still have some talent. Will it be enough to shock Bayern Munich? We doubt it.
