Other than rumors of another big move in Broncos Country late last week by Aqib Talib, the news this week, leading up to draft week, is quiet and calm.
How much credence should we put in Talib hinting at a big move?
Well, he did mention a trade for a wide receiver right before the team traded for Waddle. Let’s not forget, though, that Sean Payton loves playing with the media leading up to the draft. He very well could have asked for a favor to juice up talks and create smoke around the Broncos this
week.
I think it is very likely that we’re going to see the Broncos trade away a player on or around draft day. The guys that make the most sense are, in order, Ja’Quan McMillian, Marvin Mims, and Troy Franklin. Keep your eyes peeled on draft day. I could even see the Broncos getting a late 1st rounder for a playmaker like McMillian.
