The Indianapolis Colts announced their current 15-player practice squad, which means that they still have two more spots to potentially add to their taxi-man team:

- Robert Carter Jr., Cornerback
- Anderson Castle, Running Back
- Anthony Gould, Wide Receiver
- Kenneth Harris, Cornerback
- Roy Mbaeteka, Offensive Tackle (*International Player Pathway)
- Mitchell Melton, Defensive End
- Nolan Rucci, Offensive Tackle
- Daniel Scott, Safety
- Josh Sills, Offensive Guard
- Trey Washington, Safety
- West Weeks, Linebacker
- Nick Westbr00k-Ikhine
My initial reaction is that running back Ulysses Bentley IV, wide receiver (special teams return man) Anthony Gould, safety Daniel Scott, offensive guard Josh Sills, and wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine all seemed like logical candidates to retain within the Colts
organization on their practice squad.
With the exception of Scott, all arguably narrowly missed out on a final roster spot at their respective position, and aside from Westbrook-Ikhine, all have a wealth of experience with the Colts playbook and schemes—having been with the organization for at least the last season or two. Westbrook-Ihkine was signed this offseason.
Since Mbaeteka is eligible for the 17th practice squad spot as an International Player Pathway player, the Colts theoretically have two more practice squad spots to get to the maximum of 17 players limit.
Having just waived backup offensive tackle Luke Tenuta for claimed cornerback Kapena Gushiken, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles, it wouldn’t be surprising if they are looking to have Tenuta clear league waivers and occupy one of those final two practice squad spots.
