Eberl give good update on Kane deal (Sky Germany’s Kerry Hau via @iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich board member for Max Eberl has been a busy beaver the past few days, but his work is not done (in truth, it never is).
On good note, though, Eberl is having very positive interactions with the camp for star striker Harry Kane. As it stands, things seem to be progressing swimmingly with negotiations over a new contract.
“The contract negotiations, I have to be completely honest, have been incredibly harmonious, with both sides working together extremely well. We have a player who very
much wants to stay and a club that very much wants to extend his contract. Of course, there are still details that need to be worked out. We have a very professional, yet pleasant, way of communicating with each other,” Eberl told Sky Germany’s Kerry Hau.
Kane, whose current contract ends after this season is expected to get at least a two-year extension, maybe three. Surely, that is one of the most important details being debated at the moment between the two side.
City has made a mint this summer (Bleacher Report)
This is ridiculous:
Just wild stuff.
Jackson to Villa (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
This is…something else:
🚨💥 BREAKING | Nicolas Jackson to Aston Villa – DONE DEAL ✔️
Full agreement reached with Chelsea for a €75m package including bonuses. Contract until 2031. #CFC
Full agreement now also reached between Jackson and #AVFC. No hijack attempts. Green light. Medical completed today, as revealed.
@SkySportDE
It is hard to understand what Aston Villa is doing. Jackson was fine as a backup last season, but it really felt like he was the kind of striker who needed everyone around him to do the hard work and create easy chances for him. The problem is that Villa does not have Harry Kane, Michael Olise, or Luis Díaz.
Good for Jackson, but, man, this is a wacky move.
Álvarez missed practice again (Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano)
Amid all of the nonsense going on, Julián Álvarez missed two consecutive trainings at Atlético Madrid. With FC Barcelona trying like hell to get a deal done (and not being anywhere near successful), it is at least a little curious:
Andrich to Leipzig? (Sky Germany)
Robert Andrich could be eyeing a move from Bayer Leverkusen to RB Leipzig:
Robert Andrich no longer plays a central role in Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s plans. According to Sky Sport information, RB Leipzig is among the interested parties for the German international. 👀
↪️ Both Bayer and the player himself are aware of the interest from Leipzig. However, there has not yet been any direct approach from the league rival. But up to Deadline Day (Transfer finale LIVE on Sky Sport), things could still pick up speed in this story.

Later, Sky Germany correspondent Florian Plettenberg checked in with more information:
🚨🆕 RB Leipzig are interested in Robert Andrich. Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Andrich have been informed.
Nothing advanced so far, but one to watch until Deadline Day.
Andrich is allowed to leave Leverkusen, but he can also see himself staying at the club.

Ibrahimović to Werder Bremen? (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
Arijon Ibrahimović has at least one serious suitor — Werder Bremen — but there could be more:
🚨EXCL | Werder Bremen are exploring a loan move for Arijon Ibrahimovic.
Talks with the player’s agents and FC Bayern have started, but nothing is advanced yet.
Bayern and Ibrahimovic are open to a last-minute deal until Deadline Day.
Union Berlin are also interested. Atalanta Bergamo keen. One to watch.

Something seems off or disconnected with Ibrahimović and Bayern Munich. Certainly there is some misalignment.
Forest announces Delap (Nottingham Forest)
Nottingham Forest made its announcement for striker Liam Delap:
At one point, Delap was linked to Bayern Munich, but nothing ever materialized. Instead, he went to Chelsea and took a step back in his career.
How Club Brugge announced Mike acquisition (Club Brugge)
Club Brugge seems pretty happy to have Wisdom Mike. The Scrabble board was pretty cool to see, but did they film this at Hogwarts or something? Admittedly, I have never seen anything Harry Potter-related, but I know the name of the school:
