90+6’ – Traore runs into Ndiaye, and gets a foul in the middle. Everton quickly win it back though and are happy to run the clock down. There’s the final whistle, and Everton have their second win in nine
games. They move up to 11th with 15 points.
90+2’ – Chance for Beto but the ball squirts away, and now Rohl wins a corner. With KDH gone now it’s a Garner outswinger, Beto header blocked for another corner. Garner again, ball leaks out to Grealish and his quick shot is straight at Leno.
90’ – Gana fouled by Chukwueze just outside the box, on the right. Garner over it, goes for goal, puts it over the bar.
Six plus minutes to be added on here. Amongst all that, Fulham somehow have had a fourth substitution opportunity as Emile Smith Rowe is now on. How does that work, Muniz was not a concussion substitute??
88’ – Ndiaye is still pushing forward, driving the Blues and keeping possession.
Dewsbury-Hall coming off, he’s had a much, much better game than recently. It’s Jake O’Brien coming on as Moyes looks to batten down the hatches. Garner will go into midfield, and Rohl likely pushed forward into the KDH role.
85’ – Fulham want a goal, and are pinning the Blues back. Ball comes to Traore and he can shoot from a tight angle, comes off Grealish and Pickford saves well and the ball is cleared.
Ndiaye quick on the ball, finds Garner with a snap cross that Andersen slides in to cut it out.. and the ball goes tantalizingly wide off the post. Corner is taken by KDH, cleared.
80’ – Beto immediately in the action and wins the ball well, finds Rohl who wins a corner on the right. KDH inswinger, Keane rises highest and GOAL!! The ball goes over Leno and ducks just under the bar and it’s 2-0!!
Ball actually looked to have gone in off the defender’s back/shoulder, and VAR decides it’s a good goal, phew.
76’- Traore and Tete combine to win a corner on the Everton left. Corner is cleared.
We have a second sub for Everton with Beto coming on for Barry. The youngster came so close again to finally getting his first Everton goal.
73’ – Everton with a good spell of possession here as they play out of the press and move the ball upfront, no clear openings to shoot, so they play it all the way back.
Some short passes probing at the Fulham backline, finds KDH in space to shoot, and he blasts it wildly over.
Fulham’s last sub is an odd one. Speedy winger Adama Traore is on for Muniz, who had just come on! Sounds like illness had a part to play there, but odd nonetheless.
68’ – Rohl with a bad mistake immediately after coming on, gets caught on the ball but the Blues backline spares his blushes. Ndiaye wins a corner on the right. Cleared, Gana finds Grealish on the left, plays it back to Gana who tries an ill-advised left-footed shot which goes well wide and over.
65’ – Things are heating up here with some spicy challenges going in from both teams as well as poor turnovers.
When will Moyes make a change? After Fulham equalize? Or after a player gets sent off?
Nope, not this time. Merlin Rohl comes on for Iroegbunam who has had a decent game.
63’ – Fulham gets away from Everton’s press and win a freekick in the middle. Iroegbunam prevents a quick freekick and is now booked for his trouble.
62’ – Another chance for Fulham, with Kevin close to scoring but Ndiaye blocks the shot. Deep corner headed back and Pickford takes it.
59’- Silva makes more changes, with Muniz and Chukwueze on for Jimenez and Wilson. Chukwueze is a former Everton target, and a teammate of Barry at Villarreal, on loan here from AC Milan.
Muniz immediately in action, combines with King, but Pickford makes a good stop with his foot from the former.
56’ – Barry does well to beat Andersen at the halfway line, runs away down the sideline and then takes on Tete, and then gets in a tangle of gangly limbs and goes over his own feet. Awkward that.
52’- Everton’s press wins them the ball back in a favorable position. Long throw from Myko, lands for Ndiaye, he sets up KDH for a shot and GOAL!! In at the far post, Everton lead 2-0!
NOPE! Apparently the assistant referee has his flag up again, and it’s not clear who? VAR check quickly over, no explanation, on we go. Can only surmise that Barry has been called offside, ahh, looks like he got a touch on the ball when in an offside position, but boy that was a weak call. It stays 1-0 to the Blues.
50’ – Game delayed for a couple of minutes as the ref has a communication issue with his radio, and goes off to get a replacement.
48’ – Cottagers moving down the right, Wilson cuts in and his shot is blocked by Myko, bounces up into the air and over Pickford… and over the bar. Corner taken quickly, and the Blues are yet to possess the ball in this half.
46’ – Fulham get us underway. The visitors are controlling the ball well and moving it around, they did make a change at the break with King on for Lukic who really should have been sent off.
Halftime Thoughts – Everton were the better side for long periods of the first half and led deservedly, much like last week at Sunderland. The Blues failed to get the second goal last week which allowed the hosts back in, and will be unlucky to not have a second or a third with two goals chalked off for offside.
45+7’ – There’s the halftime whistle, Everton lead at the break (again) thanks to Gueye’s quick reactions in the box, 1-0.
45+4’ – Everton goal, finally!!! Goalmouth melee and Gana slams home. Myko’s cross was perfect, it went over Barry and Tarky headed it goalwards, beat Leno and off the bar, falls to Iroegbunam who gets in a tangle trying to bundle it home, but it rolls to Gueye who scores off Leno’s foot. 1-0 for the Blues, just before the break.
45+3’ – Tete gives away a throw-in. Myko to take a long one, handbags in the box and with Bassey hugging Tarky and the Everton defender bodying Tete out of his way. The yellow card is out for both centrehalves, which puts pressure on both.
45’ – Myko with a couple of long throws. Grealish lays off for a blocked Garner shot.

41’ – Drama! Now KDH is off to the races and hauled down by Lukic who has already been booked. The entire stadium is baying for a second booking but nothing doing. Grealish into the box, comes to Ndiaye, cross back for Keane who heads powerfully towards goal, Leno parries it and Tarky hammers home a volley!!!
Nope, Ndiaye offside again in the build-up, argh. Frustrating.
38’ – Freekick for Fulham after Keane clobbers Raul with a forearm shiver going up for a high ball.
Oh no. Barry tugs a Fulham shirt that Madley spots, and now the visitors have a central freekick, on the edge of the box. It’s a double wall situation with a Fulham wall in front of the Everton wall, and Raul hammers it off Iwobi.
Now Bassey goes down after a Garner challenge, and it’s another freekick, by the left sideline. Into the box, Myko has it and instead of passing to a Blue he just kicks it away and loses it.
35’ – You will not believe this Blues. Barry has a tap-in into the net for his first Everton goal, but the flag is up for offside! Ndiaye was offside there for the previous pass from Gana, by about a foot. Sigh.
Tete tugs Grealish’s shirt and it’s a foul for Everton. The star forward wants more than just a freekick, but Madley waves him away.
32’ – Kevin and Sessegnon break down the Everton right, low cross into the box is straight at Myko and he plays safe and puts it out for a corner. Certainly had enough time to clear it anywhere else.
Deep, deep corner, off Myko for another corner on the other side. Fulham look to be trying the new fad of heading the ball back across the face of the goal, like Spurs did a fortnight ago here. This time Barry heads it out with Gana hammering it away.
Cottagers chance as Iwobi finds Jimenez but it’s tame and Pickford collects.
30’ – Barry battling with Bassey, and the striker has his legs kicked away by the sideline. Another freekick, level with the box. KDH to take, this is like a corner, can’t beat the defender though.
Everton cycle the ball, keeping Fulham under pressure and the fans are getting back into it too.
27’ – Everton corner on the right, inswinger from KDH is punched away. Grealish recycles the ball, sets up Ndiaye for a shot but can’t get enough power and it dribbles harmlessly past the post.
Now Grealish fouled outside the box by Andersen and it’s a freekick from the left. Garner and KDH over it, the former takes it and beats the wall, but it’s low enough for Lukic to clear away. Wasted chance.
24’ – Barry tried to make a run but is stonewalled by Andersen as Everton look to break, and the striker goes down heavily. His ankle is receiving attention here, the Fulham centrehalf looked to have trod on him.
21’ – A tame Iwobi header is quickly kicked forward by Pickford to find Ndiaye, but he can’t beat Bassey as he tries to cross.
20’ – Kevin beats Garner and crosses into the box, Keane gets to it, ball back in and headed away again. The delay from the Andersen injury has certainly slowed the game down to Fulham’s benefit. The ref Andy Madley has already had a word or two with Leno about the amount of time he’s taking on goalkicks.
17’ – Grealish wins a foul off Tete who was trying to stick to him like an evil twin. KDH into the box, low and can’t beat the first man in the box, and Everton bring the ball all the way back to Pickford.
12’ – Corner into the box, Fulham partly clear it and as Everton try to recycle the ball the whistle goes for Andersen on the ground from a collision of heads with Tarkowski.
Play finally resumes after a couple of minutes, the Fulham player is okay to continue.
10’ – Barry chests it down for KDH to sprint clear, Lukic tugs him down seconds after fouling him and will get booked, which means he’ll miss the Cottagers next game.
Garner over it, from over thirty yards out.. freekick has power and accuracy, but it’s close enough to Leno to punch clear for a corner.
9’ – Fulham pressure for the first time in the game, new signing Kevin cuts in and crosses, Mykolenko heads it away and KDH hoofs it clear before getting fouled.
7’ – Another chance! Garner combines with Ndiaye, the latter crosses into the box and Barry heads it over. Ball was slightly behind him, had to contort a bit to make contact.
5’ – Everton sitting in Fulham’s half preventing them from breaking out, now Barry beats Bassey to the ball but the defender goes down and gets a freekick.
Chance! KDH with a through ball for Barry to run into, but a split second before he can hit it a defender comes across and clears.
2’ – Early chance as Grealish finds Dewsbury-Hall making a run in the inner channel, his low cross is met my Barry but he can’t make much contact under pressure from Bassey.
1’ – Gana Gueye gets us kicked off.
The siren and Z-Cars go off as Everton are welcomed back home at Hill Dickinson Stadium. Wreaths of poppies have been laid on the centre circle as part of the Remembrance Day activities.

Everton – Moyes makes a change! It’s exactly one change, with Garner going to right back, and Iroegbunam coming into the middle.
Fulham – Former Blue Iwobi starts for Silva, and expect Tete to get a warm reception from the fans.
Match Preview
Make no mistake, Everton are struggling right now. With just the one win in eight games in all competitions, the Toffees are looking stale and easy to solve right now. The Premier League is usually very quick to pounce on weaknesses, and word does get around quick. David Moyes starting lineup and set of tactics have quickly grown stale and the Blues are at risk of getting drawn into an ugly relegation battle.
Yet at the same time, the parity in the lower half of the table means the Blues are both three points away from the top half and the relegation zone.
Visitors Fulham have had an equally poor time of it so far and actually sit behind the Toffees in the table. Former manager Marco Silva had complained during the summer of not getting enough new resources, and as a result his side are struggling with creativity as well though they have scored two more goals than Everton, while conceding one more.
