It’s Sunday, and you know what that means — it’s time for our weekly social media roundup! The 2025 Winter Meetings in Orlando, Florida, turned out to be a major dud, at least when it comes to Yankees-related
news. Still, despite the lack of baseball news, it was still a big week in the Yankees Universe. What’s been going on? Let’s find out!
Wedding News
Late last week, Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. announced on Instagram that he was getting married! Unfortunately, I cannot share the post, as Chisholm has since deleted it — perhaps because, as multiple arguments noted, his partner is much more private on social media than the “wears his on his sleeve” Chisholm. Nonetheless, it’s a big moment in his life, and worth noting here.
By sheer coincidence, one current and one former Yankee celebrated their wedding anniversaries this week: Will Warren and Nick Swisher.
That’s Broadway, Suzyn
Yankees radio broadcaster Suzyn Waldman took another trip to Broadway last week, catching a doubleheader of Liberation and Marjorie Prime.
Holiday Food Drive
The Yankees hosted their 31st Annual Holiday Food Drive at Yankee Stadium this week. Ben Rice helped collect the organization collect more than 90 thousand pounds of food, which will be distributed to Bronx residents in need this holiday season.
Assorted Other News
On Instagram, Ashley Rodón wished her husband Carlos a happy birthday.
Meanwhile, former Yankee farmhand Glenn Otto announced his retirement. He was part of the Joey Gallo trade with Texas a few years back, but didn’t see much success during his three years in The Show with the Rangers and Astros.
And top prospect Spencer Jones caught a Knicks win at Madison Square Garden.
