A rematch between WBC cruiserweight titleholder Badou Jack and Noel Mikaelian has officially been added to the docket, now scheduled for the Ace Mission Studio on December 13 in Los Angeles. Jack will
be officially defending his title for the second time again in this outing after having originally took the strap from Junior Makabu in early 2023.
This Jack vs Mikaelian rematch will headline a card named “Championing Mental Health presents CMH 2: Rematch Season,” which will be dedicated to mental health awareness, according to ESPN.
Jack (29-3-3, 17 KOs) last faced Mikaelian this past May in Riyadh, edging a majority decision win by the narrowest of margins on the official scorecards. The fight was close enough the WBC eventually ordered a rematch of the fight. Mikaelian (27-3, 12 KOs) is hoping in this outing he’ll have things turned in his favor as he looks regain a title he only briefly held while Jack was a ‘champion in recess.’
