The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing former New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins to the practice squad, the team announced Tuesday. Additionally, Pittsburgh is signing cornerback Darius Rush to the practice squad.
Hodgins has been on several rosters, but most notably had his best season in 2022 with the New York Giants as they were a surprise playoff team under then-head coach Brian Daboll. Hodgins caught 33 passes and four touchdowns for the Giants that season. Last year in seven games for the Giants,
he caught 10 passes and one touchdown. He also spent a brief period in Pittsburgh in 2025.
Rush is a familiar face to the Steelers, as well. He appeared in five games for Pittsburgh across the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He was a fifth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2023 NFL Draft.
