Bayern Munich has had to navigate some unusual circumstances in recent days, with Vincent Kompany recovering in the hospital and Joshua Kimmich also unavailable. Understandably, the situation has prompted questions, but Serge Gnabry is keeping his response respectful and focused on the well-being of his teammates.
When asked about Kimmich and Kompany, Gnabry made it clear that he would not discuss the details, emphasizing that their situations are private matters.
“That’s a private matter, so I won’t
comment on it. I just hope both of them will be back with us soon, and of course, I wish them all the best,” Gnabry said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
It is a straightforward response, but an important one. With speculation surrounding both absences, Gnabry chose not to add fuel to the discussion and instead offered his support to two important figures within the Bayern Munich setup.
Kompany’s health is naturally the biggest priority, while Kimmich’s absence leaves another significant gap for the team to manage. Bayern Munich has shown that it can find solutions on the pitch, but having its head coach and midfield leader back would provide a welcome boost.
For now, the priority is simple — wishing both men a speedy recovery and hoping they can rejoin the squad soon.
