Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week we ask questions of the most plugged-in NFL fans and fans across the country.
The draft is over, the polls have closed, and Field Gulls is immersed in parlay. Despite going into the 2026 NFL Draft with just four measly picks, taking a running back of all positions in the first round, and passing on several names we as fans and scientists equally admired, our Seattle Seahawks’ recent decision-making seems well-regarded. B for the repeat.
Many of y’all, from near and wide, participated in the group activity which is an SBNation Reacts Poll, and the results were interesting. Whether a grade of B or A, the overwhelming majority of ‘Hawks fans watched the draft and walked away relatively happy with the results. If I had to make an educated guess, I’d say the As and Bs would be more evenly split if we had traded back a few spots and picked Jadarian Price, or taken another player entirely. Otherwise, most all of us seem to believe that the new guys are gonna help.
For a Super Bowl winning team with a loaded roster seen as possibly the best in the league, the trades situated and secured by the ‘Hawks throughout the draft added substance to their 7-layer dip that was already fire. Big player at the potluck. Anywho, add that with them grabbing a few players that myself and others wished upon a star, and you are looking at a draft that ain’t that bad at all. Some of these guys may even end up being your new favorite player. Only time, and touchdowns (or the prevention of touchdowns), will tell.
Thank you for participating. Go, ‘Hawks!
