The Atlanta Braves announced Tuesday that outfielder Mike Yastrzemski was reinstated
from the injured list and infielder Kyle Farmer was released from the roster.Yastrzemski hit the injured list earlier this month with left elbow inflammation. Fortunately, his IL stint was brief and he returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s contest with the San Diego Padres. Yaz went hitless through two
at-bats but will hopefully begin ramping up soon.
As for Farmer, there is always the chance he rejoins the club on a minor league deal.
