Indiana men’s basketball (17-11, 8-9 Big Ten) is set to take on Michigan State (23-5, 13-4 Big Ten) on Sunday afternoon at home in Assembly Hall
The Hoosiers’ last outing was a 72-68 home loss to Northwestern that sent them tumbling in several bracketology projections. It’s a pretty weak year for the bubble overall, but Indiana is proving itself part of said weakness in its inability to take advantage of easier opportunities like the one against the Wildcats.
The Spartans are coming off of a 76-74
win over Purdue at Mackey Arena, Tom Izzo’s first win in West Lafayette in over a decade. Michigan State, unlike Indiana, is battling for a top seed and has come together remarkably well down the stretch.
