This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans to grade the team’s moves (or lack thereof) in the initial wave of 2026 NFL free agency.
At the time the survey was posted, the Jags hadn’t yet signed RB Chris Rodriguez Jr., but they had re-signed CB Montaric Brown, OLB Dennis Gardeck, and TE Quintin Morris while passing on RB Travis Etienne, LB Devin Lloyd, and CB Greg Newsome to collect three projected compensatory draft picks.
Fans have grown restless following the quiet start to free agency.
Only 8%
of survey respondents gave the Jaguars an “A” — and the majority gave a “C” or worse.
Travis wrote about this apparent lack of trust earlier this week. “A fanbase accustomed to splashing in free agency, where this time of year has historically served as their own version of a Super Bowl, is now week-by-week adjusting to what it means to support a winning organization. And with that comes a difficult reality: good players leave winning teams.”
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars’ odds of winning Super Bowl LXI have actually stayed the same since the start of the week (+2200).
But hey. I get it. The Jaguars’ roster has worsened over the past five days, and the pass rush has yet to be addressed. Even with the caveat that the front office is broke due to irresponsible spending by previous regimes, the lack of action has been underwhelming.
Maybe a big splash from general manager James Gladstone is coming soon… fingers crossed!
