Darren Till went from dad bod in 2024 to Greek god in 2026.
But the former UFC welterweight title challenger’s transformation was a result of hard work and discipline, not performance-enhancing drugs. Till, 33, unveiled his new physique ahead of his bare knuckle boxing debut at BKFC 90 last month in Birmingham, England.
“The Gorilla” won by way of second-round knockout.
“I don’t like to say this because I’ve been very hardworking and disciplined all my life, but I was especially disciplined during this camp,”
Till told Ariel Helwani. “I was strict with my diet, and I implemented a lot more strength training this time around. My physique changed dramatically, and l’ve heard some people suggesting steroids and things like that. I was oddly pleased by those comments because it’s just the result of pure hard work. I’ve never dabbled in it. First of all, I wouldn’t even know how to go about it.”
Uh-huh.
Till (18-5-1) has not competed for UFC since losing to Dricus du Plessis in late 2022.
“I just don’t think there’s that much hype around the UFC anymore,” Till added. “I really don’t. I don’t get excited for fights, whereas I used to, and I don’t know why that is. Maybe it’s not being promoted right. I don’t like saying this because he is a good guy, but l’ve just really gone off every interview that [UFC CEO] Dana (White) does. I can’t watch any interview to do with him anymore, I just can’t.”
Till is expected to make his BKFC return later this year.
