The Husker women are currently at 15-5 and 4-5 in the Big Ten. They sit at #22 in the NET rankings, which is a reflection of how highly ranked the teams that have defeated Nebraska are. We had all hoped
Natalie Potts would be back by now – the interior defense can really use her – but it seems her surgically repaired knee has its own schedule.
This Husker team may not have the defensive prowess that past Amy Williams teams have shown, but they have their moments and can shoot better than most. They are unselfish and willing to do the things that don’t show up in the box score. This appears to be a game Nebraska should win, but I also thought they should beat Wisconsin.
I was wrong then. I hope I’m not wrong now.
