Well, we are now just hours away from kickoff between the Purdue Boilermakers and the Washington Huskies. This week I asked you all which QB you would rather face. Normal starting QB Demond Williams Jr. is suffering from a rib injury and it was not known if he would be cleared to play by tonight’s kickoff. That left Elijah Brown as the other option. So I put the two options up for you to choose from and the results were remarkably tight.
By the slimmest margin of just 2% the Hammer and Rails readers
would rather face normal starting QB Demond Williams Jr. tonight. I’m not sure if that’s because they know he’s banged up and so he would play slightly timid or if that’s simply because of Purdue’s penchant for making backup QBs look like Joe Montana (since he came in as a backup against Purdue all those years ag0). Either way it was very close.
Shortly before publishing Washington announced that Brown would be the starter so we’ve got Brown and Browne tonight. Should be fun folks! Bundle up and prepare for some rain tonight.
If you’re planning on placing a bet, Fanduel has all the odds for you.
