The Dallas Mavericks (2-4) are still on the road Monday night, this time matching up against the Houston Rockets (3-2). Dallas most recently played and lost to the Detroit Pistons in Mexico City. The Rockets are riding
a three game win streak after starting the season with two tough losses.
Here’s the main things you need to know before the game kicks off.
- WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Houston Rockets
- WHAT: Win, for the love of basketball
- WHERE: Toyoda Center, Houston, Texas
- WHEN: 7:00 p.m. CST
- HOW: KFAA Chanel 29, MavsTV streaming, NBA League Pass, and also Playback with Kirk
The injury report is what’s become normal in Dallas: Kyrie Irving out, Dante Exum out, Anthony Davis out. and Dereck Lively out. It’s really nice to have something predictable in my life. The Rockets are without old friend Dorian Finney-Smith and Jabari Smith is listed as questionable. At this point, I expect him to play.
There’s a fair amount up on the site given how poor the play has been from the team. We all still have opinions about why that is and what Dallas can do about it (if anything). So head back out to the homepage in between comments and arguments and read those posts too.
As you can tell below, you can join me in a room on Playback (embed below) during the game (though I may not be able to start it until halftime). Also consider joining Josh and I on Pod Maverick live after the game on YouTube, we should start around 10:15 pm. Thanks so much for spending time with us here at Mavs Moneyball. Let’s go Mavs!
