UPDATED Notre Dame injury report for home opener VS Rice Owls

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish begin their home football schedule this Saturday when they welcome the Rice Owls for a 3:30 game inside the House Rockne Built. The Irish got dinged up a bit against the Wisconsin Badgers and starting safety Brauntae Johnson as well as starting defensive tackle Jason Onye will be out for this game and more to follow.

Notre Dame does get back linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa after sitting out last week as he finished his recovery from knee surgery.
