The 2026 World Cup has had some great action on the field. But the fans supporting their teams have made this tournament memorable.
Earlier this week, we had a new World Cup Reacts as part of SB Nation’s partnership with FanDuel: which visiting fan base has been the best of the World Cup? There was a clear winner among the Stars & Stripes FC community:
With 51% of the vote, Scotland was the pick for the best fan base at the World Cup. Norway also had a sizeable percentage with 33% of the vote. 6% of the vote went
to Other, but for the most part, the SSFC community saluted all of the fan bases for being so much fun as well as the locals for welcoming those teams and fans into their communities. It was really heartwarming to see throughout the tournament.
Japan’s fans got love with 5% of the vote, and Cabo Verde and DR Congo’s fans each collected 2% of the vote.
