Former Blue Devil Grayson Allen is back in North Carolina, having been traded to the Charlotte Hornets on July 13. He joins former Blue Devils Kon Knueppel and Sion James in the Queen City, and he seems to be pleased to be back in the Old North State.
In this article, Allen says that he hopes to run into some Duke fans, and that he misses North Carolina barbecue. Hopefully, he knows that in Charlotte, he’s going to get more of the Lexington style of barbecue, which has which is more tomato-based,
along with vinegar.
If he’s like us, it’s all good.
It’s going to be nice to have him back in the state, and it’ll be fun to see how he works with Knueppel and James, along with the other Hornets. They recently acquired Dennis Schroder as well, so the backcourt should be plenty deep.
