Portland Trail Blazers rookies Yang Hansen and Caleb Love saw game action on Saturday afternoon, helping the Rip City Remix overcome the Valley Suns 126-125 in a G League thriller at the Chiles Center.
Yang posted 15 points (on 6-9 shooting), nine rebounds, five assists, one block and a steal in 23 minutes, while Love put up 18 points (on 8-15 shooting), five rebounds and four assists. Both Yang and Love struggled with turnovers against the Suns, registering six and five, respectively. New Blazers
tw0-way contract guard Chris Youngblood led the Remix with a team-high 25 points (on 10-17 shooting), 10 rebounds and five assists.
The three players were part of a balanced scoring attack, as six Remix players reached double figures: guard Jaylen Martin (19 points), forward Alex Reese (16), center Liam Robbins (11), Youngblood, Love and Yang.
In the end, it was former Trail Blazers two-way guard Javonte Cooke who delivered the game-winning shot for the Remix. After the Suns rallied back from a nine-point deficit with under three minutes left to tie the game, Cooke went 1 of 2 from the free throw line with 8.7 seconds remaining to give Rip City the 126-125 lead. Suns guard RJ Nembhard Jr. missed a fadeaway jumper just before the buzzer, and the Remix held on for the victory.

The Remix are off until Wednesday when they take on the San Diego Clippers on the road.
