Last week’s game at Burnley was a disappointment, and it’d be great to get back on track in this afternoon’s game against Brentford today. While there weren’t too many performances on Tuesday night against Huddersfield that demanded Regis Le Bris’s attention, there were a couple of players who may well have put themselves into contention for this afternoon’s game… Here’s how I think we may line up.
Goalkeeper: Robin Roefs
Roefs will be back in goal today, don’t think you could really fault him for either of Burnley’s goals.

Defence: Trai Hume, Nordi Mukiele, Omar Alderete, Reinildo
With Dan Ballard exiting the action early on against Burnley, it leaves a space in defence for new signing Nordi Mukiele – who impressed against Huddersfield. Arthur Masuaku also stood out in the centre of defence, and either he or Jenson Seelt could replace Omar Alderete, who we’ve heard is struggling with a knock. However, as we’ve not yet had any confirmation of that, I’ve kept him in my predicted line up for today. Hume and Reinildo, who both did pretty well last weekend, will stay as fullbacks.

Midfield: Granit Xhaka, Enzo Le Fee, Habib Diarra
I have a feeling we might see Enzo Le Fee from the off today. Against a team like Brentford, who we expect will concede possession, we’re going to need as much creativity as we can muster – and Le Fee offers more in that regard than Sadiki does. Habib Diarra was struggling with injury last weekend, and it showed, so hopefully he’s fully recovered today, while captain Granit Xhaka will start in that deeper role.

Attack: Simon Adingra, Eliezer Mayenda, Wilson Isidor
Isidor looked really bright on the left on Tuesday – albeit against a League One team – and I think he could start out there today. Certainly, subbing him with 20 minutes or so remaining on Tuesday suggested so. Who does he replace? Neither Talbi nor Adingra have set the world alight as yet, and both can play either side – I’m predicting Adingra’s moved over to the right today.
