The Cowboys are gearing up for a pivotal game against the Eagles, one where a win could seriously boost their playoff odds, and a loss could just about eliminate them from contention. With just over an hour
until kickoff, we now have a better idea of who will be on hand for the contest.
The Cowboys are looking pretty healthy for this one. Dak Prescott had popped up on the injury report earlier this week with hip soreness, but he didn’t even carry an injury designation into today. He’ll be suiting up, as will Jadeveon Clowney, who was also listed as questionable.
A notable absence from the inactive list is wide receiver Jonathan Mingo, who will be making his season debut today. Mingo, who joined the team at the trade deadline last year, was activated off injured reserve a few weeks ago but had been inactive since then. Now, he’ll get a chance to show what he can do.
That means a heavy dose of healthy scratches for the Cowboys today, with the inactives list featuring Jalen Tolbert, Jaydon Blue, Hakeem Adeniji, Trikweze Bridges, Jay Toia, and Perrion Winfrey. Notably, Winfrey was activated off the injured reserve earlier this week, but it seems he’s still a week or so away from being ready to play.
As for the Eagles, their biggest inactive by far is right tackle Lane Johnson, who was ruled out early in the week with a foot injury he suffered last week. Center Cam Jurgens was questionable with an injury, but he’s active and ready to go, as is edge rusher Jaelan Phillips.
