According to a report from transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is very close to finalizing a deal for PSV Eindhoven attacking midfielder Ismael Saibari, but still needs to close the gap with Eintracht Frankfurt for Nathaniel Brown:
Bayern are optimistic to close the Ismael Saibari deal in the coming week. There are only final touches to put with PSV before the deal is done. In addition, Bayern are working on the Nathaniel Brown deal and are also optimistic.
Agreement with the player is done, now working with Frankfurt. There’s less gap in the valuation for Saibari with PSV than with Frankfurt for Brown.
Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink (via @iMiaSanMia) is also reporting that there is a Monday meeting planned between Bayern Munich and PSV Eindhoven, but also that a deal might not be as close as Romano projects:
Meeting scheduled tomorrow between Bayern and PSV over Ismael Saibari. Things are looking good, but the clubs still need to reach an agreement on a number of financial points. Only then will the green light be given.
