Barcelona players are in the spotlight after Transfermarkt updated their transfer valuations and came up with some interesting numbers.
Fermin Lopez appears to be the biggest winner. The Barcelona star is now valued at €100 million after playing a starring role for Hansi Flick’s side this season.
“The 26 goals he has contributed to in 37 matches this season speak for themselves,” says Tobias Blaseio, head of La Liga market values at Transfermarkt.
“He impresses with his intensity on the pitch, his constant
pressure, and, in addition to his attacking qualities, his excellent defensive work for the team. He is a young player from whom much more can be expected.”
Fermin is not the only Barcelona star whose value has soared, per the popular website. Pedri is now said to be worth €150 million, Marc Bernal is listed at €30 million and Joan Garcia is now the most expensive goalkeeper at €40 million.
Interestingly, Transfermarkt have also picked out the players whose valued has dropped the most, noting that Barcelona target Julian Alvarez is now valued at around €90m.
The highest valued players in La Liga remain Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal – both valued at €200 million each – followed by Vinicius Jr and Pedri at €150m and Jude Bellingham on €140m.
