It’s certainly been an adventure keeping the rotation stocked this season. June and July were definitely months with a “help wanted” sign on the mound. When Charlie Morton starts (opens?) the game on Sunday, 19 different Braves will have started a game. I can remember many seasons when Atlanta wouldn’t use that pitchers in a season, let alone starters. When you had Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, and Greg Maddux holding down rotation spots for nearly a decade, you didn’t need much depth at all.
So can you
name all of the 2025 Braves starters? I tried this exercise, without the prompts or internet help earlier this week. I got 15, and I decided that it would be a pretty good Sporcle.
