Indiana men’s basketball needs some strong performances against Ohio State and in the coming Big Ten Tournament to put itself into good position for an NCAA Tournament bid.
The last time a player emerged and helped spark a winning streak was in late January when the Hoosiers beat Rutgers, knocked off Purdue and held on against UCLA. That player was Nick Dorn, who scored 23 points against the Scarlet Knights, 18 against the Boilermakers and 26 against the Bruins. He’s only scored in double digits twice
in the eight games since that run.
Now, with Indiana’s collective back against the wall, the Hoosiers once again need those kinds of performances out of Dorn. That’s what Indiana fans think, according to the results of our latest Reacts Survey:
Rather overwhelmingly too, a nice 69% of respondents believe Dorn is needed most down the stretch for Indiana, which currently sits at a less than ideal +172 to make the field, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
