The Braves 2025 season was.. yeah. Let’s go with unpredictable. Not fun for sure. The staff’s predictions was definitely not in the 70ish win range. But we had some decent submissions from last year. I mean, we were on our game. Blame the injuries and the HR/FB monster. Hey, let’s look at last year’s predictions and think about our 2026 ones!
Jesse Chavez predictions
Chavez’ late career path has been pretty predictable, and the community was definitely expecting him to repeat his tricks.
Jesse Chavez was only able to give
us 4 appearances and a retirement. But that wouldn’t have been a bold prediction anyway.
Michael Harris predictions
We had thoughts about Michael Harris as well.
Actually, these predictions made a ton more sense that the season Michael put together.

Yeah, I won’t hide my shame. Braves were #4 in catcher WAR, so I was on the right track. Something something, big dumper. Still a miss, though. I felt certain the Braves would be in the top 5, but I don’t think that was particularly bold.
Successful Brian Snitker predictions
You might lump these in with wishing it into the universe, but it (kinda) happened.
Winner?
This one had Drake Baldwin getting the Rookie of the Year with AJ Smith-Shawver getting second place and winning 12-13 games. The first part was on the nose. Smith-Shawver was on pace for 10-11 wins before he was injured. Some great stuff here.
What comes next
I’m kicking around my bold predictions for 2026 and I’ll probably place those in the weekend questions. We’ll probably do bold predictions on Opening Day week. Will I hit one? Somebody will.
