After being nominated for the 2025 Ballon d’Or Féminin and finishing 21st in the global ranking from Palmeiras, Brazilian international forward Amanda Gutierres has signed with the NWSL’s Boston Legacy FC.
The superstar will join on a permanent pre-transfer and will join the club in January once the 2026 primary transfer window opens. Gutierres’ contract is until December of 2029.

Her hard work and achievements have been recognized with a Ballon d’Or nomination, and we’re thrilled to bring her winning mentality and relentless work rate to Boston in 2026.”
At Palmeiras, she has been absolutely dominant. She has won the Golden Boot in 2023 and 2024 for her outstanding play in the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino Série A1.
At just 24 years old, Gutierres is already a regular for the Brazil Women’s National Team. Most recently, she scored in the final against Colombia, converted a pk in the shootout, and was named to the Team of the Tournament.
As Domè Guasch and Filipa Patão continue to build the roster ahead of the inaugural 2026 NWSL season, this move signifies that starpower that continues to enter the league. Boston Legacy now has a premier goalscorer that will give opposing backlines, nightmares.
