Another Thursday night of Impact (July 9, 2026), and two more winners advanced in the TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament. This time, it was clear favorites Indi Hartwell and Jody Threat moving into the quarterfinals.
The results for Hartwell and Threat were never in doubt, because they wrestled indie prospects who aren’t signed to the TNA roster. Nonetheless, Vicki Venuto and Gabby Forza did their darndest to impress.
Vicious Vicki didn’t go down easy for Hartwell. Venuto showed toughness
to break free from Hurts Donut and drop Hartwell on a cutter. Hartwell demonstrated veteran resolve by countering Venuto into a roll-up. Once on their feet, Hartwell grabbed Venuto to execute the Hurts Donut finisher.
Normally, Threat is the powerhouse of the match. Forza was even more of a powerhouse than Threat. The so-called World’s Strongest Gnome had Threat in trouble on a spinning torture rack bomb. Threat kicked out. Forza landed a Vader bomb earlier in the contest, and she went back to that well. Threat put her boots up to block. Threat closed with the Pop Shove It finisher.
Hartwell and Threat join the quarterfinals along with Mara Sade and Heather by Elegance, who will wrestle each other. Hartwell faces the winner of Harley Hudson versus NXT’s Thea Hail. Threat will meet the winner of Alisha Edwards versus Jada Stone.
