Tigres and Monterrey battled to a tie in a Clasico Regio that was lively but maybe not as memorable as other edition. With both teams getting a red card, it was very physical with both teams trading possession. It looked like Monterrey had ran into trouble when they were down to 10 players but surprisingly Tigres failed to take advantage of it and Monterrey got the early goal. Then when Monterrey was dominating possession, Tigres struck with the tying goal. Tigres will close out their season by hosting Atletico San Luis while Monterrey has a tougher task when they travel south to Guadalajara to face off against Chivas.
