Ok, so I really don’t know how much overreacting we had to this one. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish absolutely SHELLACKED the Syracuse Orange on Saturday afternoon. It all was so ridiculous that it was more comical than anything (and just downright sad for Syracuse). You could call never seeing something like what took place especially in the first quarter an overreaction, but it truly was something historic. 21 points without the offense even sniffing the field. What a wild, but amazing Senior Day
for the Irish
I even joked on Saturday that I had absolutely no idea what I was going to do for this post because by the end of the first quarter, it was 35-0 with all facets humming. But, I found some ways to spin this one for this week, with maybe some reaching. But hey, LOL, cut me some slack on this one here.
Overreactions (if you can even call them that) to ND vs. Cuse
This was probably said in jest because the whole game was ridiculous. It gets the nod here because Love put up insane numbers with 3 TDs by the end of the game (well, third quarter). It did not, in fact, ruin Love’s Heisman run, which I, all of us, and I’m sure this fan are all happy for that.
Not an overreaction at all. In fact, Coach here is SPOT ON. What a call. I put this here because 15 real time minutes into the game you would think that might be somewhat crazy, but nope. 70 on the dot. This also wasn’t that crazy given the fact of the offense barely touching the ball and the score was 35-0.
For my final one today, this is a shout out to my good friend, Greg. I did actually tweet out I had no idea what I was going to do for this post, and this was his response. Seeing that Buchner did get into the game to kneel for victory formation technically makes this kinda correct. It makes sense if you don’t think about it.
