Based on video from the ceremonial weigh-ins, Winnipeg is hyped for their upcoming UFC Fight Night card at the Canada Life Centre tomorrow night.
UFC Fight Night: Burns vs. Malott might not be generating a ton of interest worldwide over a busy WrestleMania weekend, but the locals in Canada turned out to cheer on the nine Canucks set to compete on the card, including main event fighter Mike Malott.
As with previous face-offs, there was little drama between welterweights Malott and Burns, who have largely
stared through each other every time they’ve been forced to square up. We at least got some mean mugging when Jasmine Jasudavicius and Karine Silva came together for their women’s flyweight bout.
Returning heavyweight Tanner “The Bulldozer” Boser also brought some aggression in his faceoff against Gokhan Saricam, with the two nearly touching noses.
We’ve had back to back weeks of great fights with UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Duncan and then the excellent UFC 327 card. Let’s see if it’ll be three in a row with UFC FIght Night: Burns vs. Malott.
