The Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens will be meeting for the first time this season on Thanksgiving night. It will be the first of their two meetings in three games. This one is, of course, in Baltimore as most Thursday night games these teams have played over the years.
The Bengals are currently 7.5-point underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The odd makers are expecting some fireworks, as well. The over/under is set at 52.5 points.
There is a lot of uncertainty still surrounding quarterback
Joe Burrow’s availability for the game. He has recovered remarkably quickly from the surgery on his toe, and it appeared he had a real chance of playing against the New England Patriots on Sunday. Even if he does play, you do have to wonder just how healthy he will be, and if any sort of restriction might be too much to keep this offense from finding its rhythm again quite yet.
The good news is they get Ja’Marr Chase back after serving his one-game suspension. The bad news is Tee Higgins will likely be out with a concussion he suffered late in the game against the Patriots.
As far as the Ravens’ side of things. This season has been far from a walk in the park. They have crawled out of the gutter of the AFC North after a 1-5 start to win five straight games. Quarterback Lamar Jackson missed three games. He has looked as solid as ever when healthy. He still has games where he seems to disappear like this past Sunday against the New York Jets, but he usually shows up against Cincinnati.
The games between these teams always seem to come down to the wire, so we will see how this one plays out.
