- While Illinois is not an historical rival for the Huskies, you can make the argument that this weekend’s game is the most pivotal one on the 2025 schedule. - Husky Basketball also received a surprising commitment yesterday. Serbian big man Nikola Dzepina committed to the Dawgs and will enroll imminently. It means he could play as soon as the new year for the Huskies. With injuries impacting the UW roster, Dzepina could provide important depth if those issues linger in the frontcourt.
