The World Series continues tonight with Game 4 between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers from Dodger Stadium.
Taking the mound for the Blue Jays will be right-hander
Shane Bieber, who finished the regular season with a 3.57 ERA, 4.47 FIP, with 37 strikeouts to seven walks in 40.1 innings pitched. His last start this postseason was in the Blue Jays’ 4-3 win over the Seattle Mariners on October 20th, in which he allowed two runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and a walk in three and two thirds innings.
He’ll be facing off against Dodgers right-hander Shohei Ohtani, who finished the regular season with a 2.87 ERA, 1.90 FIP, with 62 strikeouts to nine walks in 47 innings pitched. His last start this postseason was in the Dodgers’ 5-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on October 17th, in which he allowed just two hits and three walks with 10 strikeouts in six innings.
Tonight’s game starts at 5:00 p.m. PT and will air nationally on Fox, with national radio coverage available on ESPN Radio.
